Our monthly full-service package costs meaningfully less than buying each of those services à la carte through the year. You pay one fixed amount every month — the same in July when we're there weekly as in January when we're not — so the cost is predictable and there are no surprise invoices after a big cleanup or mulch drop.
No — we can't accommodate one-time mow requests. Starting service requires a minimum commitment of four consecutive mowing visits, but there's no annual contract. The program is built around caring for a lawn continuously, which is what actually produces a healthy lawn.
No. Our crews run a set route, respect your property, and complete the work efficiently whether you're there or not. Most of our customers are at work when we come through.
Your lawn is serviced on the same day each week, determined by the neighborhoods our crews are routed through. The time of day can shift depending on the route, but the day stays consistent so you always know when to expect us.
We prioritize weekday service and do our best to avoid weekends and holidays. After a stretch of rain days it's occasionally necessary to catch up on a Saturday so nobody's lawn gets skipped.
Light rain doesn't stop us — we mow through it. We avoid excessively wet conditions because mowing saturated turf rips roots and leaves ruts. When we hold off for weather, your lawn picks back up on its regular schedule as soon as conditions allow.
In spring and fall, water about twice per week. In summer, increase to three or four times per week. Adjust down after heavy rain — coastal Virginia can deliver a week's worth of water in one afternoon storm.
Water deeply and early in the morning rather than lightly and often. Shallow frequent watering trains roots to stay near the surface, which is exactly what you don't want come August.
Pick up toys, furniture and pet items, and unlock any gated areas on your service day so the crew can reach the whole yard. Please avoid watering in the 24 hours before your scheduled visit — dry turf cuts cleaner and doesn't rut.
A dedicated, trained team, top-tier equipment that's actually maintained, and a commitment to going the extra mile on every property. Practically, that shows up as details: hard surfaces blown clean before we leave, bed lines edged crisp, blades kept sharp, and the same crew on your street week after week so they know your yard.
Not in the residential package — fertilizer treatments are quoted separately, or you can keep your existing lawn treatment company and we'll work alongside them. For commercial grounds programs, fertilization and weed control are typically included.
Usually we mulch clippings back into the lawn, which returns nitrogen to the soil. When growth is heavy enough that clippings would clump and smother the grass, we collect them instead.
Yes. We're licensed and insured, and we can provide a certificate of insurance for commercial accounts or property management companies that require one before work begins.
Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach, running out of our shop on Elbow Road in Chesapeake. Coverage is really a question of routing rather than distance — call with the address and we'll tell you straight away whether your street sits on an existing route.
Call 757-888-5296 or send the quote form. We'll come look at the property — free, no obligation, and you don't need to be there — and give you one flat monthly number covering the whole program.
